Eric lipsitt, Attorney
Mr. Lipsitt draws on more than 40 years of experience and expertise across a wide range of commercial business and litigation settings. Mr. Lipsitt’s broad legal background includes serving as a General Counsel to a large 501 (c)(3) financial services company as well as outside litigation counsel to numerous high-profile clients tasked to conduct and supervise complex litigation. Mr. Lipsitt has represented numerous clients in state and federal trial courts as well as in appellate proceedings in the Michigan Court of Appeals and the U.S. Sixth and Seventh Circuits.
Since joining the firm in 2017, Mr. Lipsitt has focused on commercial and family law receiverships and civil post-judgment enforcement including domestic support collection. He has wide ranging experience representing court appointed receivers including those appointed by the business and family law courts. Mr. Lipsitt has been responsible for the administration and sale of ongoing commercial businesses which include nursing homes, restaurants, apartment buildings, racetracks, and real estate management companies.
Mr. Lipsitt also provides significant litigation expertise in connection with insolvency issues, debt collection matters, including voidable transfer actions, business torts and commercial litigation. His experience in both the business and litigation settings give him a unique perspective in crystallizing issues and developing strategies to achieve optimal solutions.
